Product Review: Glorious Soup – Soup Thai Tuk Tuk and Tumeric
Although I love cooking my own food, I also love finding healthy, plant-based companies that produce yummy food for when I’m in a rush or simply don’t have time to cook.
I recently came across Glorious Soup Thai Tuk Tuk and Tumeric – I’m an absolute coconut lover so I just had to try it!
With any food product I buy, I always check the label to see what’s inside – I like to find products with small lists of ingredients, where I recognize everything in there – no crazy long words I can’t pronounce which indicate there’s all kinds of chemicals and unnatural ingredients in there.
Here is the list of ingredients in the soup, as you can see it’s full of nourishing wholefoods and natural flavourings:
Vegetable stock (Contains celery), Carrot (28%), Potato (7%), Butternut Squash, Coconut (2.7%), Onion, Ginger Puree, Cornflour, Coriander, Sugar, Salt, Lime Leaves, Red Chilli, Garlic Puree, Lemon grass, Turmeric. Vegetable stock contains Water, Concentrated Vegetable Juices (Onion, Carrot, Leek, Celery, Garlic), Sugar, Salt, Corn Starch, Sunflower Oil, Spice Oils.
I also really loved the witty, serving suggestion:
“Serving suggestion – enjoy while sitting near a miniature Buddhist statue.”
The soup was warming, nourishing and I really loved the lemon grass flavour that came out straight away. Tumeric is also a great anti-inflammatory and adds a lovely rich tone to the soup. I will definitely be trying some more products in their range!
Not all of their soups are vegan, but the Singapore Fling, More Bangladore, Mumbai Madness soups and A Night in Tuscany sauce are vegan-friendly!
